This research provides a comprehensive overview of the interactions between young males and alchohol-related injuries.

It offers some insights into practical measures the reduce the effects of alcohil-related injuries but advises that there is no simple solution.

It recommends that community-based interventions offer the most likely successful format for reducing injuries along with a number of other measures.

The report offers additional research and recommendations for addressing ARI in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander males for whom ARI poses a major health issue and plays a significant role in the poorer health outcomes recorded.
